Gregory Alan was born and raised in a small Southern California coastal community and is currently employed in the field of education. He shares his Spanish-style home with his best friend, Mark, and his seven pet birds: Clyde, Shishka, Cleo, Penney, Willow, Oz, and Zak. He dabbles in woodwork and furniture restoration and frequently engages himself in gardening and home improvement projects.

The outdoors, nature, plants, and wildlife are among Gregory's favorite things. Reading, writing, cards, and board games are some of Gregory's more sedentary interests; however, it is quite difficult to keep him still for very long. When not working in the office or around the home, Gregory can sometimes be found two-stepping at some of the country-western dance clubs in the Studio City/Burbank area.
